Bentley Systems, an American-based software development company wanted to create an exceptional state of the art innovation hub, in which they could showcase their latest technology to investors and clients. Working with Bentley’s innovation team we have exceeded expectations, creating a breathtaking experience.
Project in brief:
- Created a state-of-the-art innovation hub to showcase Bentley System’s technology
- A workspace that blends sustainability and innovation on the 43rd floor of 8 Bishopsgate.
- Designed a dynamic space that includes an experience studio featuring a 7.3-meter LED screen.
Innovative and Sustainable Design
The Bentley Systems workplace on the 43rd floor of 8 Bishopsgate offers a forward-looking approach to experiential office design. With a focus on sustainability, the space incorporates eco-friendly materials such as Baux wood wall finishes and carbon-negative carpet tiles. The design is detail-driven and integrates cutting-edge features while minimising waste through tools like Qflow. This workspace seamlessly blends sustainability, innovation, and modern design, set against the dramatic backdrop of London’s skyline.
Dynamic and Multifunctional Space
Bentley Systems’ workspace is a versatile environment designed to adapt to various needs, featuring an experience studio and town hall connected by a folding wall. The space includes a 7.3-meter LED screen and surround sound system, creating an immersive experience, while the cocktail bar transitions from a brainstorming hub by day to a luxury entertainment space by night. With thoughtful design elements like exposed ceilings and curated seating, the workspace enhances company culture, fosters creativity, and supports individual goals.
This unique project looked to develop both Bentley Systems’ physical workspace and attitude to work. It is safe to say that the outcome has done just that, if not more. Bentley intend on using its innovation centre as a model to be rolled out globally.
